| Letter to the Parents: Dear Parents, I am so excited to be teaching your child this year. Fifth grade is a great year and the kids can expect a lot of fun as they finish up their last year at Fries Elementary. Each student brings their own unique strengths, skills, and perspectives that help to create a unique learning environment for all students. I want to build upon those qualities to ensure a positive learning environment that values each child individually as well as a part of our team. My goals for the year are as follows: First I want each child to realize their potential as lifelong learners. Secondly, I want to see each child progress as least one year of academic growth from whatever level they begin from. Thirdly, I hope that each child becomes an independent and responsible learner by developing good work habits.
